Hyundai Overview:
For 2009, Hyundai introduces a taste of luxury with the all-new Genesis full-size sedan. The rear-wheel drive Genesis boasts both a V-6 and V-8 with a max output of 290-horsepower.  The Genesis costs less than the competing BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

The Elantra is a comfortable compact sedan with added safety features, an electronic stability system and impressive fuel economy. New for 2009 is the Elantra Touring. The Touring is a 5-door hatchback has the same 2.0-liter, 138-horsepower four-cylinder engine as the sedan and competes with the Toyota Matrix, Dodge Caliber and Nissan Versa. Meanwhile, the full-size Azera sedan receives new steering and suspension for better handling and a new chrome grille, audio system interface, iPod/USB inputs and 17-inch wheels.

The Accent offers affordability and value along with a variety of flexible options. This four-cylinder model is available as a flexible hatchback or roomy sedan and gets improved fuel economy for 2009. The Sonata gets revised exterior styling, a new interior and both four-cylinder and V-6 engines that are more powerful and efficient.

The Tucson is Hyundai’s smallest SUV and receives a bolder grille, improved rear fascia, a tweaked transmission management system and better fuel economy. The Santa Fe is a midsize SUV gets a new audio system for 2009.  A luxury SUV offering a smooth, quiet ride with a high-quality interior, the Veracruz sports a standard 260-horsepower V-6 engine and an optional navigation system.

The Tiburon has been discontinued for 2009.
